City, February 15: Liverpool faces uncertainty in the left-back position as they look to strengthen their squad. Andy Robertson, who has been a mainstay since his transfer from Hull City for £8 million in 2017, has struggled with form during the 2024/25 Premier League title-winning season. The 31-year-old has made uncharacteristic errors, prompting the club to prioritize the left-back position in the last summer transfer window.
Milos Kerkez was brought in for £40 million from Bournemouth, pushing Robertson to a bench role. With Robertson’s contract expiring in summer 2026, a departure seems likely, potentially leaving a gap in the squad.
