Lenovo Legion Go will soon launch in India. In a press release, the company announced the release date of this portable gaming console in Japan. Some key specifications and features of the handheld console were also revealed.
First announced at the IFA (Internationale FunkAusstellung Berlin) in 2023. The Lenovo Legion Go is powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z1 series chip and runs on Windows 11 with the Legion Space gaming software. Comes with a detachable hall effect RGB light joystick.

Lenovo Legion Go has been launched in India
In a press release, the company confirmed that the Lenovo Legion Go will launch in India on June 27. The microsite of this product is also available on the Lenovo India website. This confirms some details about the upcoming handheld gaming console. The company also confirmed that all buyers will receive three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for free.
According to the microsite, the Indian version of Lenovo Legion Go will support Legion Glasses. It has also been confirmed to support three modes: handheld, detachable and FPS (first-person shooter). The second mode uses an optional controller stand to turn part of the controller into a vertical mouse, useful for aiming in FPS games.
Features of Lenovo Legion Go
The Lenovo Legion Go India Edition is confirmed to feature an 8.8-inch QHD+ touchscreen display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. It is confirmed to support AMD’s Ryzen Z1 series chipset and run Windows 11. This console will also feature the company’s Legion ColdFront cooling system.
Lenovo also confirmed that the Legion Go supports 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of PCIe Gen4 internal storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card.
The Lenovo Legion Go is powered by a 49.2Wh battery that supports fast charging. There will also be a power bypass mode and a battery optimization mode. The teaser images suggest that this console will be available in India with a black color option.
