Google will unveil the highly anticipated Pixel 9 series on August 13th (August 13). As the date approaches, new leaks reveal a new look for the vanilla model. A hands-on video shows the Pixel 9 device in pink. It will be sold in Algeria. The video shows that the Pixel 9 will have rounded corners and the back appears to have a glossy finish.

X user Hani Mohamed Boud (@haniboud) claimed that the Google Pixel 9 with 256GB of storage is “already on sale in Algeria.” A hands-on video of the phone that appeared to be attached to the post shows off the phone’s new pink color from all angles. The 12-second video shows the camera bar, the rounded corners and the smooth display and back.
The back of the Pixel 9 has a glossy finish, but the camera bar is matte. The camera bar looks larger than on the Pixel 8. The phone has a square frame, confirming the design language that was leaked in the previous renders.
Google will announce the Pixel 9 series at a hardware launch event in August. The event begins on August 13 at 10:00 AM PT (10:30 PM IST). This year’s Pixel lineup includes the standard Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, as well as the new Pixel 9 Pro XL.
The Pixel 9 series is said to come with Android 15 and Tensor G4 SoC. The vanilla Pixel 9 is expected to feature a 6.24-inch AMOLED display. The Pro and XL models have 6.34-inch and 6.73-inch AMOLED screens, respectively. This panel can provide a 120Hz refresh rate.
