New Delhi, September 5 (Kiran News) — Indian smartphone brand Lava on Thursday launched its new entry-level smartphone, the Lava Yuva Smart 2, in the domestic market. Priced at ₹6,099, the device comes in a single variant with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. It will be available in Crystal Gold and Crystal Blue colour options, with doorstep delivery assured by the company.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc 9863A chipset and runs on Android 15 Go Edition. It features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The 3GB RAM can be expanded virtually by an additional 3GB, offering up to 6GB usable memory. Storage capacity stands at 64GB.
On the camera front, the Lava Yuva Smart 2 comes with a 13MP AI-supported rear camera housed in a square camera module, accompanied by an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the device offers a 13MP front camera. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The handset is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging.
Lava highlighted that the Yuva Smart 2 is designed to deliver reliable performance for first-time smartphone users and budget-conscious buyers.
Last month, the company launched the Lava Play Ultra 5G, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. That device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a dual rear camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, capable of reaching full charge in 83 minutes.
