KTR Accuses Revanth Reddy of Betraying Meenakshi Natarajan

Hyderabad, June 14: K.T. Rama Rao, the executive president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accused Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of betraying Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan on Sunday.

He claimed that Revanth Reddy filed a false case against Natarajan in Hyderabad after she provided information regarding his alleged corruption, particularly related to land deals and contracts, to the Congress high command. KTR further alleged that Revanth Reddy shared details of this fabricated case with the BJP to obstruct Natarajan’s nomination for the Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh.

Addressing party workers in the Khairatabad constituency, KTR labeled Revanth Reddy as someone who betrays his own party members. He emphasized that the honest leader and trusted ally of Rahul Gandhi, Meenakshi Natarajan, became a victim of Revanth Reddy’s vindictiveness.

KTR condemned the Chief Minister’s statement about idolizing Hitler, calling it shameful for a democratic nation. He criticized the Congress administration, describing it as a “completely flop” film, stating that the government has failed to fulfill its promises halfway through its term. He remarked that just as a film’s success or failure can be gauged from its trailer, the Congress government has been a flop from the outset. He pointed out that the government has not delivered on any major promises in its first two and a half years.

Questioning the promise of 200,000 jobs in the first year, KTR noted that not even 4,000 positions have been filled. He also targeted the government for not providing the promised unemployment allowance of 4,000 rupees.

On the issue of women’s welfare guarantees, KTR challenged Revanth Reddy to prove his claim of making 1 crore women millionaires, stating that he is ready to resign if this claim is validated. He also mentioned that the government owes each beneficiary 1.25 lakh rupees.

KTR stated that a by-election in Khairatabad is inevitable due to Danam Nagendra’s defection to Congress, which he claimed violates the public mandate. He urged party workers to remain vigilant against Congress’s attempts to manipulate voter lists, citing suspicious votes in Jubilee Hills as an example.

He instructed booth-level workers to actively participate in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) running from June 25 to July 31 and to conduct a record-level digital party membership campaign.
