JSW Energy Gains After Raising ₹250 Crore via NCDs

Mumbai, 13 November (Udaipur Kiran)। JSW Energy shares inched higher on Thursday after the company announced it has successfully raised ₹250 crore through a private placement of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs).

The stock was trading at ₹529.00, up 0.27% from the previous close of ₹527.55. It opened at ₹528.00 and touched an intraday high of ₹529.55. Over 91,813 shares changed hands on the BSE.

The BSE Group ‘A’ stock has a 52-week high of ₹774.50 (13 Nov 2024) and a 52-week low of ₹419.10 (17 Feb 2025). The company’s market capitalization stands at ₹92,456.95 crore. Promoters hold 69.27%, institutions 23.69%, and non-institutions 7.05%.

₹250 Crore Raised Through NCD Issue

JSW Energy allotted 25,000 unsecured, listed, rated, taxable, redeemable NCDs of ₹1,00,000 each, aggregating to ₹250 crore. The allotment was approved by the company’s Finance Committee in its meeting held on November 12, 2025.

JSW Energy, part of the diversified JSW Group, operates across power generation and has interests in steel, mining, industrial gases, ports, aluminium, cement, and IT through its group companies.
