New Delhi, May 24, 2025 — Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has officially begun the registration process for postgraduate admissions for the 2025 academic session. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the university’s official portal jnuee.jnu.ac.in until June 16, 2025, at 11:50 PM. This year, the admissions process integrates three major entrance channels — CUET PG, GAT-B, and CCMT (GATE-based counselling) — offering candidates multiple routes to secure a seat in one of India’s premier institutions.
Multiple Admission Channels for JNU PG 2025
JNU is facilitating PG admissions through the following national-level entrance examinations:
CUET PG 2025: For admissions into MA, MSc, MCA, MPH, MTech (except Computer Science & Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering), Postgraduate Diploma, and Advanced Diploma of Proficiency (ADOP) programs.
GAT-B (Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology): For MSc in Biotechnology and MSc in Computational Biology.
CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech, GATE-based): For MTech in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
One significant academic change to note: the Centre for German Studies will now offer a consolidated MA in German Studies, replacing previously separate tracks in literature, translation, and interpretation.
