New Delhi, June 6: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced the recruitment for 15 positions at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), inviting applications from young and talented citizens interested in defence-related research.
Among the 15 vacancies, there are 4 positions for Research Associates (RAs) and 11 for Junior Research Fellows (JRFs). The RA positions include 2 in Biology, 1 in Chemistry, and 1 in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The JRF positions comprise 5 in Biology, 4 in Chemistry, 1 in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and 1 in Dentistry.
The application process has commenced online via email, with the last date for submission set for June 30. Eligible candidates wishing to apply can register on the official DRDO portal before the deadline.
Candidates applying for the Research Associate positions must hold a PhD in relevant fields such as Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Material Science, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
For the Junior Research Fellow positions, candidates should possess a first-class MSc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related fields, along with NET (JRF/LS) qualification from a recognized national agency. Alternatively, candidates with valid GATE scores in relevant engineering disciplines may also apply.
The maximum age limit for Research Associates is set at 35 years, while for Junior Research Fellows, it is 28 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates from reserved categories as per regulations.
Selection will be based on shortlisting of academic qualifications, followed by interviews/written tests and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹67,000 for Research Associates and ₹37,000 for Junior Research Fellows, along with additional benefits.
Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted between July 15 and July 24 at the main gate reception of INMAS, Timarpur, Delhi. Candidates are advised to report between 8 AM and 9:30 AM and bring a hard copy of their filled application form along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents.
