Srinagar, May 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of five lecturer positions across various departments, providing a significant opportunity for individuals in the education sector.
The vacancies include two Lecturer-I positions in Engineering for Electrical Engineering, one Lecturer-I position in Engineering for Electronics and Communication, one Lecturer-II position in Non-Engineering for Food Technology, and one Lecturer-I position in Civil Engineering.
The online application process commenced on Friday, with the last date for submission set for May 31. Interested and eligible candidates can register on the official website before the deadline. A correction window will be available from June 1 to June 3 for candidates who may make errors while filling out their application forms.
Applicants must possess a relevant graduation degree from a recognized institution or university with a minimum of 55% marks, along with other specified eligibility criteria and skills. The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 40 years, calculated as of January 1, with age relaxation applicable for candidates from reserved categories.
Selection will be based on a written examination, shortlisting, and document verification, with salaries determined according to JKPSC regulations.
Candidates are required to pay the application fee online, which is set at ₹1,200 for unreserved candidates and ₹700 for those from reserved categories. Disabled candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
