Udaipur: Indira IVF, India’s largest network of fertility clinics, has announced that it has been accredited by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) of India for the prestigious National Society of Fertility Medicine (FNB) course. This award was given to Udaipur Hospital and Pune Hospital for 4 and 2 seats respectively. The company hopes to train 100 FNB candidates over the next five years, filling the critical gap in trained domestic fertility specialists.
As an accredited institution in India, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) sets standards for excellence in medical education and training and awards accreditation to organizations that adhere to its strict guidelines. Medical graduates with a DNB/MS degree in obstetrics and gynecology are eligible for admission. Some who pass the qualifying exam are allotted places in accredited NBE medical colleges, institutes or hospitals. The National Board Fellowship – Reproductive Medicine degree program is widely recognized for its comprehensive curriculum and rigorous training protocols that ensure reproductive health professionals maintain the highest standards of expertise and competency.
During the two-year period, selected candidates complete challenging courses divided into theoretical, clinical, practical and symposium formats, learning knowledge, skills, behaviors, rehabilitative care, and research and teaching methods.

The Academy (IFA) has trained more than 150 andrology technicians, more than 200 embryologists and more than 350 fertility specialists. As the need for assisted reproductive technology increases in the near future, the company plans to hire approximately 300 to 350 fertility specialists in the next five years to fill the gap.
