Berlin, June 13: Indian Ambassador Ajit Vinayak Gupta visited the ILA Airshow in Berlin on Friday, where he inaugurated the India Pavilion. The Indian Embassy in Germany announced on the social media platform X that Ambassador Gupta engaged with representatives from Indian private defense companies and startups, including young women entrepreneurs. Notable companies such as Dynamic Technologies, Paras, and Skyroot Aerospace were part of the discussions.
The embassy further stated that the ambassador also met with various German companies operating in the aviation, defense, and space sectors, including MTU-Rolls Royce, Airbus, Hensoldt, Liebherr, Quantum Systems, and Diehl.
Indian company Raife Amphiber showcased its latest drone at the ILA. The European Space Agency (ESA) hosted a space pavilion at the airshow, welcoming visitors under the theme “Space4Future” from June 10 to 14. The pavilion highlighted how space exploration, climate monitoring, navigation, and telecommunications shape our future.
The European Council noted that cutting-edge projects like clean aviation breakthroughs would be displayed at their booth. ILA Berlin confirmed that the European Commission is once again a strategic partner for the event in 2026, strengthening Europe’s technological leadership and paving the way for the future of aerospace under the “Airborne in Europe” motto.
The European Council emphasized the importance of sustainable solutions, new technologies, and impactful research initiatives in transforming aviation. Experts involved in these projects will provide insights into innovations that are advancing the future of aviation.
