
Honor 200 5G and Honor 200 Pro 5G will launch in India on July 18. As the launch date approaches, Honor has revealed the key specifications of the Honor 200 5G series. The device is said to have a 5,200mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging. The Pro model is proven to have a vapor chamber for heat dissipation and an internal C1 RF chip for advanced communication functions. This device supports Snapdragon chipset and MagicOS 8.0 operating system based on Android 14.
Honor 200 5G series specifications confirmed ahead of launch in India
In a press release on Monday, Honor announced that the Honor 200 5G series will be equipped with a second-generation silicon-carbon battery, a first in the electric vehicle (EV) battery segment. The Duo is confirmed to have a 5,200mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support, and the battery unit is claimed to perform better even in harsh low-temperature conditions. This charging technology is claimed to be able to fully charge the Honor 200 Pro’s battery in just 41 minutes. This phone also supports 66W wireless charging.
The Honor 200 Pro is confirmed to have a stainless steel vapor chamber with a heat dissipation area of 36,881 square millimeters for thermal management. Honor claims that the new vapor chamber significantly increases the heat dissipation area by 10% compared to the Honor 90. This device supports the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mobile platform with a CPU clock speed of up to 3GHz. It also includes the company’s RF C1+ upgrade chipset for improved communication capabilities and internet connectivity.
Vanilla Honor 200 will feature the Snapdragon 7 Generation 3 chip. This series comes with the latest version of MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 with various smart features based on artificial intelligence. This phone has a maximum of 12GB storage and a maximum of 512GB internal storage.
The Honor 200 series was previously launched in China and Europe. The global versions of Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro also run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets respectively. The standard model costs £499.99 (approximately Rs. 53,500) in the UK, while the Pro model costs 699, It costs ₹99 (approximately Rs. 74,800).
