
Udaipur : Hindustan Zinc’s Zawar Group of Mines receivesPlatinum Award at Apex India Green Leaf Foundation 2022 in Energy Efficiency category. The award acts as a testament to the continuous efforts taken by the organization to protect and preserve energy. Further Strengthening our commitment, several initiatives have been adopted by Zawar group of mines such as optimisation and demand-based scheduling of compressor operations through automation, reduction of power consumption in the mine ventilation system by increasing utilisation of the primary ventilation system, and reticulation of mine electrical power through bore holes to reduce line losses.
