The players—Gaurang Paliwal, Neev Chaudhary, Yatharth Sukhwal and Govind Singh—have been training at Balaji Swimming Pool in Udaipur. They were recently selected for the national-level competition after delivering an impressive performance at the CBSEWSO selection camp.
Before their departure, coaches Anil Kumawat, Sandeep Soni and Piyush Sukhwal wished the players success. They said the athletes have been consistently working hard and expressed confidence that they would perform well at the national level and bring pride to Udaipur.
Director of Balaji Swimming Pool, Dr Rishika Sukhwal, said the enthusiasm and confidence among the players is clearly visible. She added that the institute also provided special training sessions to the players ahead of the competition. She expressed hope that these young talents would return with medals for Rajasthan.
The players will represent Udaipur and Rajasthan at the SGFI National Swimming and Diving Championship being held at Chhatrasal Stadium in New Delhi.
