Nirbhaya Team’s Prompt Action Leads to Arrest
The Jaipur Police, under the direction of the Commissioner and Nirbhaya’s nodal officer, has been actively running “Operation Garima” to ensure women’s safety across the city. As part of routine surveillance, the Nirbhaya civil team was patrolling the Sadar police station area when they spotted an incident unfolding near the railway station.
When the team approached, they saw a woman arguing with a man. Upon inquiry, she revealed that the accused had been stalking and blackmailing her, insisting that she accompany him. The victim further stated that she had no prior acquaintance with him and had been living in fear due to his persistent harassment.
