Mumbai, October 6 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Emcure Pharmaceuticals surged over 4% in Monday’s trade after the company announced the acquisition of the remaining 20.42% stake in Zuventus Healthcare, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.

The stock is currently trading at ₹1398.35, up by ₹58.05 or 4.33% from its previous close of ₹1340.30 on the BSE. It opened at ₹1342.05 and touched an intraday high of ₹1407.20 and a low of ₹1342.05. So far, 4,518 shares have been traded on the counter.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of ₹10, has recorded a 52-week high of ₹1530.00 (on October 15, 2024) and a 52-week low of ₹890.00 (on April 7, 2025). During the past week, it traded between ₹1414.00 and ₹1260.10. The company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹25,961.85 crore.
As per the latest shareholding data, promoters hold 77.91%, while institutions and non-institutional investors hold 5.70% and 16.39%, respectively.
Emcure Pharmaceuticals has completed the acquisition of 40,95,180 equity shares, representing 20.42% of Zuventus Healthcare, held by individual shareholders. Following this transaction, Zuventus has become a 100% subsidiary of Emcure Pharmaceuticals.
Earlier, the company’s board had approved this acquisition in its meeting held on June 21, 2025. Zuventus Healthcare is engaged in dealing with a wide range of pharmaceutical medicaments across various specifications and therapeutic applications.
