Udaipur, 29 January (Udaipur Kiran): In line with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s commitment to good governance, District Collector Namit Mehta is undertaking regular visits to rural areas of the district. As part of this initiative, the Collector visited Rishabhdev sub-division on Thursday.

During the tour, the District Collector carried out the annual inspection of the Rishabhdev Sub-Divisional Office, Tehsil Office, Sub-Treasury Office and Rishabhdev Police Station. He reviewed the functioning of various branches in these offices and conducted a detailed assessment of revenue-related cases, e-files and pending matters on the Sampark Portal.
Collector Mehta instructed officials to ensure that public grievances received through the Sampark Portal are resolved in a sensitive and time-bound manner. He also emphasised proper maintenance and systematic organisation of old records and files within office premises, stressing the need to further strengthen record management practices.
During the inspection, Sub-Divisional Officer Ramkaran Singh, Tehsildar Ashish Soni, Block Development Officer Pankaj Kumar Arya, along with officers and staff from concerned departments, were present.
