Udaipur (Udaipur Kiran): Constitution Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and dignity at VIFT College under the joint auspices of Sai Tirupati University’s VIFT College and Venkateshwar College of Nursing. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ) Kuldeep Sharma was present as the chief guest.

Union Chairperson Ashish Agrawal said that a detailed discussion was held on the importance and necessity of the Constitution, and all present took a pledge to follow it. Students were asked questions related to democracy and the Constitution, and the winners were awarded prizes.
Addressing the gathering, ADJ Kuldeep Sharma elaborated on the importance of the Indian Constitution and said that the Constitution is not merely a document but the foundation of citizens’ rights and duties. He urged students to adopt the constitutional values of equality, justice, liberty and fraternity in their lives. He said that it is the duty of every citizen to uphold the dignity of the Constitution and contribute to the development of society and the nation. He especially motivated the youth to understand the core spirit of the Constitution and to take an active role in democratic processes.
Guest Santosh Kumar said that knowledge of law and the Constitution is essential for every individual to safeguard their rights.
VIMS, PIMS (ICS) and VIFT Director Dr. Rimjhim Gupta and College Principal Dr. Naveen Sen welcomed the chief guest and said that such programmes play an important role in increasing constitutional awareness among students. On this occasion, students collectively recited the Preamble of the Constitution, expressing their commitment to democratic values.
