Mumbai, December 29 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Ceigall India Ltd moved higher on Friday after the company announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ceigall Infra Projects, has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) worth ₹1,089 crore from the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC).
The stock was trading at ₹271.95 on the BSE, up ₹12.10 or 4.66 per cent from its previous close of ₹259.85. During the session, the scrip touched a high of ₹273.70 and a low of ₹267.00, with around 2,170 shares changing hands. The company’s 52-week high stands at ₹357.20, while the 52-week low is ₹223.00. Its current market capitalisation is ₹4,526.71 crore.
Promoters hold a 82.06 per cent stake in the company, while institutional and non-institutional investors own 8.13 per cent and 9.79 per cent respectively.
Ceigall Infra Projects has secured the contract for the construction of the Indore–Ujjain Greenfield (Access-Controlled) four-lane highway under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The project involves developing a 48.10-kilometre-long stretch, starting from Km 0.000 near Pitra Parvat and ending at Km 48.100, including the Simhastha bypass. The project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the date of appointment.
The new order significantly strengthens Ceigall India’s order book and reinforces its growing presence in the roads and highways sector. The project aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of contributing to India’s infrastructure development through sustainable and future-ready transport solutions.
