New Delhi, 20 November (Udaipur Kiran)। Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has once again reduced the service validity of its most affordable ₹99 prepaid plan. The operator has silently revised the benefits multiple times over the past year, each time shortening the validity period.

Updated Benefits of BSNL ₹99 Plan
The plan now offers:
14 days service validity
Unlimited voice calling
50MB data (speed reduced to 40 Kbps after usage)
Just a few days ago, the same plan offered 15 days validity. Last year, users were getting 18 days of validity for the same price. With the latest change, the daily cost has gone up to around ₹7.07.
The company has been tweaking low-cost plans to improve revenue and boost its average revenue per user (ARPU). BSNL is also expanding its 4G rollout, which is now live across nearly all the 1 lakh sites it had announced.
This plan is primarily meant to keep a SIM card active for a short duration with minimal cost. While still among the cheapest options in the market, it no longer offers the value it once did.
