Udaipur (Udaipur Kiran), June 26: An awareness programme on the theme “Drug-Free India” was organised at Sai Tirupati University under the joint initiative of Venkateshwara College of Nursing and the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The programme was led by Sai Tirupati University Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain, Deputy Registrar Dr. Kanupriya Tiwari, and Principal Dr. Vijay Singh Rawat.
During the event, Sudarshan Singh, Narpat Singh Chouhan, representatives of Arogya Seva Sansthan, and CI Kavarpal Singh along with the Anti Narcotics Task Force team, educated students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraged them to adopt a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
The participants were urged to stay away from addiction and spread awareness in society. All attendees also took a pledge to contribute towards building a Drug-Free India.
Among those present on the occasion were Dr. Chandra Prakash Dekhawat, Dr. Geetanjali Sharma, Dr. Archala, Rupendra Singh Shaktawat, Tanveer Khan, and Giriraj Charan.
The programme was successfully coordinated with the support of NSS Programme Officers Deepak Teli and Anand Trivedi from Sai Tirupati University.
