Atonemo Streamplayer Launches in India to Modernize Old Speakers

Mumbai, May 18: Swedish audio technology company Atonemo has officially entered the Indian market with its innovative product, the Atonemo Streamplayer. This compact device aims to enhance home audio setups by adding modern wireless streaming capabilities to virtually any speaker system, regardless of age or brand compatibility.

Developed in Stockholm, the Streamplayer serves as a bridge between older wired audio systems and contemporary streaming platforms. It supports AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect, allowing users to stream music wirelessly to speakers, amplifiers, and hi-fi systems without being confined to a single ecosystem.

The device boasts high-resolution 24-bit / 192kHz audio playback and features Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for improved wireless performance. It includes 3.5mm analog and optical S/PDIF outputs, ensuring compatibility with both vintage and modern audio equipment. Additionally, the Streamplayer supports gapless playback and multi-speaker synchronization across various speaker brands.

Atonemo emphasizes that the Streamplayer is designed with user simplicity in mind, particularly for those who wish to retain their existing speaker setups rather than invest in newer wireless products. The company has partnered with Luxury Personified LLP for distribution and operations in India.

The Atonemo Streamplayer is expected to launch in India in May 2025. While the official pricing has yet to be announced, it will be available through Amazon India and authorized premium audio and consumer electronics retailers across the country.
