There are still a few months left until Apple’s next generation of iPhones is released. The iPhone 16 series may be announced later this year, around September. Like the iPhone 15 series, the new iPhone series is expected to have four smartphones: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. A lot of information has been shared about the expected features and design of the iPhone 16 series released by Apple.

Apple iPhone 16 series design
In terms of design, the iPhone 16 series is said to ditch traditional physical buttons in favor of capacitive touch-sensitive buttons that use tactile feedback to simulate the feeling of pressing a real button. The camera design can also vary depending on the smartphone. According to rumors, the phone could have a vertically arranged camera module instead of the current one.
Additionally, the Action Button included in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may also be included in the standard and Plus models of the iPhone 16 series.
Software for the Apple iPhone 16 series
When it comes to operating systems, the new iPhone series runs on iOS 18, which was announced in June this year. As for the processor, the base models iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come with Apple’s A18 chipset, while the pro models iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max may have the A18 Pro chipset.
Apple iPhone 16 series screen and battery
The iPhone 16 series may also have some display features on the front of the display. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will likely retain their 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen sizes, but the refresh rate could increase dramatically.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to come with larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens.
Apple’s iPhone 16 series offers a significant increase in battery capacity and potentially longer battery life.
