Patna, February 14: Renowned Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh recently spoke about the current situation of actor Rajpal Yadav. She emphasized that all artists should extend their support to him according to their capabilities.
She stated, “Every artist is saddened by this. I believe his fans must also be quite distressed, as Rajpal has always brought joy and entertainment to people. Everyone is helping him in their own way. I think every artist should contribute, even if it’s a little. Those who are capable should offer support according to their means. Every actor and artist is upset. I believe his fans, whom he has entertained over the years, are also very troubled. I think those who can help should do so according to their ability.”
Akshara further expressed her sorrow, saying, “Every artist is extremely sad. I believe his fans will also be very upset, as he has entertained them from the start. Everyone is helping him in their own way. I think every artist should help him, even if just a little.”
It is noteworthy that Rajpal Yadav is currently serving a sentence in Tihar Jail due to a cheque bounce case. The actor had taken a loan of ₹5 crores from a company to produce the film ‘Ata Pata Lapata’. After the film flopped, he was unable to repay the loan, and due to accumulating interest and penalties, the amount grew to ₹9 crores.
The court had given the actor several opportunities, but after failing to comply, he was sentenced to six months in prison. Following this, many stars from the film industry, including Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Sonu Sood, have come forward to assist him. Additionally, ASP Anuj Chaudhary, stationed in Uttar Pradesh, has also offered his support to the actor.
