Mumbai, November 28 (Udaipur Kiran): Adani Defence Systems & Technologies Ltd (ADSTL), in partnership with Prime Aero Services LLP, has acquired a majority stake in Flight Simulation Technique Centre Pvt Ltd (FSTC) for an enterprise value of ₹820 crore, significantly strengthening its aviation training and simulation capabilities.

FSTC is India’s largest independent provider of flight training and simulation services and operates 11 full-flight simulators and 17 training aircraft. The company offers comprehensive pilot training programmes including commercial pilot licences, type ratings, recurrent training and specialised skill development.
The company holds certifications from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). It runs advanced simulation centres in Gurugram and Hyderabad, with additional expansion capacity, and operates one of the country’s largest flying schools at Bhiwani and Narnaul in Haryana.
India’s defence pilot training ecosystem is emerging as a key growth area, following the civil aviation sector where simulator-based training has improved safety, reduced costs and enhanced operational efficiency. FSTC has outlined plans to expand its footprint across both civil and defence aviation training.
Commenting on the acquisition, Ashish Rajvanshi, CEO, Adani Defence & Aerospace, said that the deal is a critical step in building a fully integrated aviation services platform. With FSTC joining Air Works and Indamer Technics, the group can now cater to customers across civil MRO, general aviation MRO, defence MRO, and complete flight training services.
He added that with Indian airlines expected to induct over 1,500 aircraft, the demand for certified pilots will rise sharply. Simultaneously, the government’s push for advanced training and mission rehearsal for the armed forces presents significant growth opportunity in defence simulation.
ADSTL is a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL). Horizon Aero Solutions Ltd (HASL), a joint venture of ADSTL and Prime Aero Services LLP, is a step-down subsidiary of AEL.
