Western Digital has expanded its portfolio of WD, WD Black and SanDisk products in India. The California-based computer drive maker has launched the WD My Passport portable hard drive (HDD) series and the 6TB capacity SanDisk G-Drive ArmorATD in the country. These are the world’s first 2.5-inch portable hard drives with a capacity of 6 TB. The WD My Passport hard drive collection offers password protection with 256-bit AES hardware encryption. SanDisk G-Drive ArmorATD drives are IP54 rated for dust and water resistance. With its latest products, this brand aims to provide users with strong and customized storage solutions.

The 6TB WD My Passport is priced at Rs. 15499 in India. On the other hand, the 6TB WD My Passport with USB Type-C costs Rs. 15999. WD Elements 6TB costs Rs. 15299. All three products are currently available through Western Digital dealers, retailers and Western Digital stores.
Finally, the 6TB WD SanDisk G-Drive ArmorATD is priced at Rs. 20999. It will be available at select Western Digital resellers, retailers and the Western Digital Store by the end of July.

It offers USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Thunderbolt 3 interfaces and supports transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps via the USB Type-C port. There is also a 3-year limited warranty.
