Jaipur, November 28 (Udaipur Kiran): Weather conditions changed in several districts of the state due to the impact of a western disturbance. Light to moderate rainfall was recorded at many places on Thursday, while the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in several districts on Friday as well. Light to moderate rain was recorded in Jaipur, Ajmer, Beawar, Didwana and Sikar districts. Rain was also reported in Jalore, Sirohi, Rajsamand, Pali, Sirohi’s Pindwara, Makrana, Parbatsar and Takhatgarh in Pali district.

In Jaipur, clouds remained overcast since Friday morning and intermittent rain continued in many areas. Drizzle was reported in several localities. The chill in the air increased due to cold winds. The sky remained cloudy and the sun did not appear till 11 am.
According to Meteorological Department Director Radheshyam Sharma, a new western disturbance is becoming active. On Friday, parts of the Jodhpur, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions are likely to receive rain and thunderstorm activity. On Saturday, light rain is expected in the Ajmer, Jaipur and Udaipur divisions. There is also a possibility of moderate to dense fog in southeastern Rajasthan on November 29 and 30.
The department has issued a yellow alert for Ajmer, Nagaur, Jaipur and Tonk districts. As per the alert, light to moderate rain along with thunder is likely at some places.
