Clean Drinking Water for Women Enrolled in Stitching Program: Aakash Bagdi
Udaipur, April 8 – In a significant step towards women empowerment and public welfare, Shri Eklingnath National Seva Organization has announced the installation of a water cooler and RO plant at the Department of Fashion Technology and Designing (DFTD) located in Nehru Hostel, Udaipur. This initiative is a part of the organization’s ongoing Nari Vaibhav campaign, which aims to equip women with skill-based training and resources.

Ensuring Access to Clean Drinking Water
Aakash Bagdi, the founding president of the organization, stated that a large number of young girls and women visit the department regularly to learn sewing skills, and during big training camps, the footfall increases significantly. “To ensure that all daughters and women get pure drinking water, especially under the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao mission, the organization has decided to gift a water cooler and RO filtration system to the institute,” said Bagdi.
The inauguration ceremony of the RO plant is scheduled for Friday, May 11, and will be conducted with full ceremonial protocol. Representatives from Sukhadia University are also expected to attend the event.
Empowering Women Through Stitching Training
Bagdi further informed that under the Nari Vaibhav campaign, the organization is linking women with three-month-long stitching training camps, conducted in association with the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) department. These camps will also provide certification upon successful completion of the course.
Women aged up to 40 years and who have passed at least eighth grade are eligible to participate. Interested candidates can visit Nehru Hostel, Sector 3, between 10 AM to 2 PM for enrollment.
Expansion of Social Welfare Projects
Highlighting the organization’s broader social initiatives, Bagdi shared that four new service projects have recently been launched in Jodhpur, creating employment opportunities for over 400 women. “The organization continues to be at the forefront of public service and will keep expanding its efforts to uplift communities through meaningful interventions,” he added.
