The Pixel 9 series is expected to launch later this year. As expected, leaks and rumors about the smartphone have already appeared online, most recently about the wallpaper. Android Authority reported that the entire Google Pixel 9 wallpaper was leaked online.
The new wallpapers are part of the new Swirling Petals theme, which also includes all available colors.
Background details
This new series of wallpapers features a whimsical translucent design with petal-shaped colored bubbles spread across the screen. The colors have some contrast, but are not particularly vibrant. As always, there is a light and a dark version of each wallpaper.
The series is designed for four different devices: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This series of four flagship devices represents Google’s new approach and is the largest number of devices launched simultaneously. Google’s Pixel Fold successor was originally expected to launch earlier this year after the original launched in June, but is now expected to launch later this year with a Tensor G4.
