WhatsApp will soon allow users to share their status updates on Instagram. According to online reports, the Meta app is working on an optional feature to share status updates on Instagram.
According to WABteaInfo, the feature aims to improve media sharing for users by allowing them to easily post their WhatsApp status updates directly to their Instagram Stories and is currently in development.
The report states that WhatsApp is improving its sharing features to integrate with Instagram, which will come in a future update. If users want to share their WhatsApp status updates on Instagram, they need to enable this cross-posting option as it is initially disabled.
Importantly, users can deactivate this feature at any time after activation and control the visibility of shared Instagram content via the audience settings in the Instagram story.
