New Delhi, October 20 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Universal Autofoundry Limited gained in early trading on Monday after the company announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kranti Industries for a long-term operational collaboration involving its machining facilities.
The stock was trading at Rs. 65.50, up 0.39 points or 0.60% from its previous close of Rs. 65.11 on the BSE. It opened at Rs. 66.41 and touched a high of Rs. 66.41 and a low of Rs. 65.50 during early trade, with 6 shares changing hands. The company’s market capitalisation currently stands at Rs. 82.58 crore.
The BSE Group ‘B’ stock has a face value of Rs. 10 and has seen a 52-week high of Rs. 167.70 (November 13, 2024) and a 52-week low of Rs. 53.51 (March 6, 2025). The promoters hold 46.81%, while non-institutional investors account for 53.19% of the company’s shareholding.
Under the MoU signed on October 18, 2025, Universal Autofoundry will lease and consolidate its machine shop operations to one location — Unit 3 at Sargoth in Sikar district, Rajasthan. Kranti Industries will manage and operate this integrated machine shop, focusing on machining cast components produced by Universal Autofoundry.
The partnership is expected to improve production efficiency, enhance quality consistency, and accelerate delivery timelines to meet increasing customer demand. By combining Universal Autofoundry’s foundry expertise with Kranti Industries’ machining capabilities, both companies aim to deliver higher value to customers and stakeholders.
The MoU will be effective from January 1, 2026, for a period of seven years, including a three-year lock-in period, subject to the signing of definitive agreements.
Universal Autofoundry is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of C.I. castings, producing Grey Iron and S.G. (Ductile) Iron components primarily for the automotive sector.
