Udaipur, July 22 — Renowned Udaipur-based designer Gunjan Sharma has been invited to deliver special sessions at the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. She will lead a three-week academic and practical training module on the topic: “Livelihood Generation through Value Addition and Article Creation Using Bamboo.”

Gunjan Sharma, who currently serves as the Head of the School of Design at Pacific University, shared that she will be engaging with students from the Furniture and Interior Design Department of NID. The sessions aim to provide both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in bamboo-based design and product development, focusing on sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Her invitation to NID reflects her growing influence in the design education landscape, especially in the field of eco-conscious and craft-based innovation.
