New Delhi, October 26 (Udaipur Kiran): TVS Motor Company, India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has released a teaser for the updated 2026 TVS M1-S electric scooter, set to debut at the EICMA 2026 show. Known for its dominance in India’s EV market, the company is now taking significant steps to expand its global footprint, with the M1-S targeting the European market.

The upcoming M1-S electric maxi-scooter is a rebranded version of ION Mobility’s M1-S, following TVS’s strategic investment in the Singapore-based EV startup. With ION Mobility now integrated into TVS’s operations, all its intellectual properties, assets, and core team are under the TVS brand.
Global Debut and Market Focus
TVS first teased the M1-S on its Indonesian website in August 2025. The latest teaser confirms that the 2026 model will make its European debut at EICMA 2025, at Hall 8, Booth I58. While Europe remains the primary market, there is a strong possibility of the scooter launching in India as well.
Design and Styling Highlights
According to the teaser, the new M1-S 2026 features a projector headlight setup with a redesigned LED DRL signature, offering broader illumination than the earlier model. The dual-tone front fascia, extended windscreen, flat floorboard, step-up single-piece seat, stylish rear grab rail, and LED tail lamps add to its premium visual appeal.
The M1-S rides on 14-inch alloy wheels fitted with wide tires, complemented by front and rear disc brakes, telescopic front forks, and twin rear shock absorbers. It also includes a 7-inch TFT digital cluster, smart key feature, and 26-liter under-seat storage for practicality.
Performance and Range
The scooter weighs 152 kg and has a 1,350 mm wheelbase, ensuring stability and comfortable handling. It is expected to be powered by a 4.3 kWh battery pack paired with a swingarm-mounted motor delivering 12.5 kW peak power, 254 Nm of rear wheel torque, and 45 Nm rated torque. TVS claims a range of up to 150 km on a single charge.
With its futuristic design, feature-rich setup, and performance-oriented engineering, the TVS M1-S 2026 could become one of the most advanced electric scooters in its segment, strengthening the brand’s EV leadership both in India and global markets.
