New Delhi, 19 July (Udaipur Kiran): The Supreme Court has denied the interim bail plea of two convicts in the Bilkis Bano case. The court refused to entertain the plea, questioning its merit.

Radheshyam Bhagwandas and Rajubhai Babulal had filed the plea seeking interim bail until the Gujarat government decides on their new release request. It is noteworthy that on January 8, the Supreme Court had canceled the Gujarat government’s decision to prematurely release the 11 convicts in the Bilkis Bano case and ordered all the convicts to surrender.
