Supreme Court Collegium Recommends 26 Names for Judge Appointments in Allahabad High Court

Prayagraj (Kiran News) – The Supreme Court Collegium, headed by the Chief Justice of India, has recommended 26 names to the Central Government for appointment as judges in the Allahabad High Court. The decision was made in a meeting held on September 1.

The list includes 12 advocates and 14 judicial officers. The advocates recommended for appointment as judges are: Vivek Saran, Adnan Ahmad, Vivek Kumar Singh, Garima Prasad, Sudhanshu Chauhan, Awadhesh Kumar Chaudhary, Swaroopma Chaturvedi, J K Upadhyay, Siddharth Nandan, Kunal Ravi Singh, Indrajit Shukla, and Satyaveer Singh.

The judicial officers whose names have been recommended are: Dr. Ajay Kumar II, Chavan Prakash, Devesh Chandra Sawant, Prashant Mishra I, Tarun Saxena, Rajeev Bharti, Padam Narayan Mishra, Laxmi Kant Shukla, Jay Prakash Tiwari, Devendra Singh I, Sanjeev Kumar, V R Agrawal, Achal Sachdeva, and Babita Rani.

The recommendations have been sent to the Central Government for further action.
