Steel stocks trade mixed amid Govt to invest Rs 80,250 crore to upgrade roads under PMGSY

Steel stocks trade mixed amid Finance Minister has proposed to invest Rs 80,250 crore for up-gradation of roads under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). Government also to upgrade 1.25 lakh km of roads under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.

Jindal Steel & Power is currently trading at Rs. 139.25, down by 2.80 points or 1.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 142.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 142.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 142.60 and Rs. 138.70 respectively. So far 271058 shares were traded on the counter.

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 489.50, down by 5.85 points or 1.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 495.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 498.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 498.20 and Rs. 488.00 respectively. So far 231800 shares were traded on the counter.

JSW Steel is currently trading at Rs. 275.85, up by 0.80 points or 0.29 % from its previous closing of Rs. 275.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 275.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 278.60 and Rs. 274.35 respectively. So far 106188 shares were traded on the counter.
