Udaipur : Dr Jayshree Singh, the Adjunct faculty of English in Law and Associate Professor in English reported that the Dean Dr Abhay Jaroli, Faculty of Law Bhupal Nobles’ University extended welcome to Shri R. N. Mathur, the Senior Advocate of Rajasthan High Court and Supreme Court, and the former Advocate General of Rajasthan state.

The Honourable Guest had an informal discussion with the students of Law regarding the law of Torts concerning Ginger-Beer Case, Understanding the Constitution and the significance of its Preamble in the study of legal studies. He also talked about IPC code and its 511 sections that need to be studied in theory and practice carefully.

He also discussed about the discipline, conduct, note-making, reading habits to be developed by students themselves. With faculty of the Law of BNU he emphasised upon implementing effective pedagogy for teaching law subject, knowledge of language for draft-preparation, research paper writing and documentation to be instilled right at the beginning of the career of students enrolling in the Degree Professional Course of Law and Legal Studies.

The open-meeting and discussion was attended by the Assistant Professors of the Faculty of Law – Ms Kiran Chauhan, Dr Krishna Ranawat, Mr Piyush Chauhan, Dr Pushplata Dangi, Dr Shikha Nagori and Ms Vushnupriya. The visit of the honourable Senior Advocate R. N. Mathur extended educational opportunities as per contemporary changing patterns in Law Education in Udaipur in perspective of local and global needs.
