Jaipur, February 23, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – In a unique initiative during the grand Phalgun fair at the world-famous Khatu Shyam Temple, Rajasthan Police and Sikar Police have organised the ‘Shri Khatushyamji Mela Selfie Competition’.

Sikar Superintendent of Police Praveen Nayak Noonawat said that under the directions of Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma, extensive arrangements have been made for devotees, including security, traffic management, women assistance, medical coordination and crowd control.
He stated that if any devotee notices effective police arrangements, assistance provided by police personnel on duty, or any positive moment reflecting relief and convenience due to police-administration efforts, they can capture the moment as a selfie and share it on social media.
100 Best Selfies to Be Awarded
Participants are required to tag @policerajasthan and use the hashtags #SafeWithPolice and #KhatuMelaPolice while sharing their entries. From the received submissions, 100 best selfies will be selected and specially honoured.
Winners will receive an attractive photograph of Khatu Shyam Baba, prasad and a certificate of appreciation from Rajasthan Police. Winners residing outside the district will be sent their पुरस्कार and certificates by post.
SP Noonawat said the initiative aims to strengthen trust, cooperation and positive communication between devotees and the police. He emphasised that the police are committed not only to maintaining law and order but also to ensuring service and safety for devotees.
