Over the past few months, we’ve heard several rumors about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, another model in the foldable series, and now a source has leaked information about the model’s release date. It is also likely to launch in China under the name Samsung Galaxy W25.

X Advisor (formerly Twitter) Ice Universe has claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will launch in October, a few months after the expected release of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The device will launch in China as the Galaxy W25 . to the whistleblower
Post X does not specify whether this schedule applies to the Chinese market or the rest of the world. The upcoming foldable phone is said to be lighter, thinner and larger than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6 and may have a titanium frame, but it won’t support the S Pen.
Last month, Ross Young, co-founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), said that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will be larger than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and will be released in the fourth quarter (October to December). This year’s model may be the same price as the standard model.

Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is rumored to take place on July 10 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Ring are expected to be officially launched during the event. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with a titanium frame and a 7.6-inch internal screen and a 6.3-inch top screen. The device runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. It is said to be available in 256, 512 and 1TB storage options.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is said to have a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. There is said to be a 10-megapixel camera on the cover screen and a 4-megapixel camera below the display. It can have a 4400mAh battery with 25W charging speed.
