Samsung Galaxy M55 5G May Launch in India Soon; Leaked Live Images Show Colour Options

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G will be launched soon. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the device yet, but it has surfaced online several times in the last few weeks. Now, a source has hinted at the launch of this model in India and shared live images of the phone. The images show the color options and design of the back of the phone. It has already been spotted on several certification sites and points out some important specifications of this model.

Tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) shared a live image of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G in a post on X (formerly Twitter) and claimed that the phone will launch in India soon. He added that this phone will be available in blue and black colors and will feature a triple rear camera system. More details are likely to be revealed closer to the phone’s launch.

In the image shared by Titer, the back of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G can be seen in black and blue. The triple rear camera unit is housed in three separate, slightly raised circular slots arranged vertically in the top left corner. The LED flash unit is located between the first two notches, a little further to the right. The volume button and power button are located on the right edge of the phone.

A report by 91Mobiles states that the Galaxy M55 5G was recently spotted on Dekra’s certified website. The phone is said to have a 4,855mAh battery and is expected to be sold as a regular 5,000mAh battery. The report added that the model’s TUV SUD certification indicates that the phone can support 45W wired fast charging.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G has also been spotted on the FCC certification site, which shows that it will come with 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The report also states that the phone was spotted on Namco’s certification website with the model number SM-M556E/DS, where “DS” likely refers to dual-SIM support.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G with the model number SM-M556B was previously spotted in the Geekbench benchmark. The listing reveals that the phone is expected to come with Qualcomm’s 1st Gen Snapdragon 7 SoC with Adreno(TM) 644 GPU and 8GB of RAM. It may also come with One UI based on Android 14.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is set to replace the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G, which was announced in March 2023. The previous phone is powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. For optics, the smartphone has a 108-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back, a 3.2-megapixel sensor on the front , The phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support.
