Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro specifications revealed, IP57 rating, up to 30 hours of battery life

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 series is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The company has not yet announced a date for the event, but recent reports suggest it could take place in July.

The next-generation Galaxy Buds, which will replace the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, are said to consist of a base model and a “Pro” model. These headsets are likely to launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 phones. A new leak points to some additional specifications and functions of the true wireless headphones.

According to a report published by Android Headlines, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 series is expected to feature IP57 dust and water resistance ratings. Both models are said to support Samsung’s SmartThings Find and are expected to be available in silver and white.

According to the publication, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will come with two-way speakers, adaptive noise cancellation, blade lights and ambient sound. The original version does not have these features and may have a one-way speaker.

With active noise cancellation (ANC) enabled, the base Galaxy Buds 3 are expected to provide up to 5 hours of playtime and up to 6 hours with ANC turned off. Meanwhile, the report also claims that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro can last up to 6 hours with ANC on and up to 7 hours with ANC off.

The total battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is said to be up to 30 hours, while the battery life of the Galaxy Buds 3 can last up to 24 hours. According to this report, the size of the phone’s charging case is likely to change.
