The Redmi Watch 5 Active was launched in India alongside the Xiaomi X Pro QLED 2024 smart TV series and the Xiaomi Power Bank 4i 20000 mAh. This smartwatch features a zinc alloy metal body and is IPX8 waterproof. It features a 2-inch rectangular display and is said to offer a battery life of up to 18 days. This smart wearable supports Bluetooth calling and is equipped with an ENC-enabled three-microphone and speaker system.

The Redmi Watch 5 Active is priced at Rs. 2799 in India. The smartwatch will be available in the country from September 3 at 12:00 pm via the Xiaomi India website, Flipkart, Amazon and Xiaomi’s offline retail stores . It is available in two colors: matte silver and midnight black.

The Redmi Watch 5 Active features a 2-inch rectangular LCD display (320 x 385 pixels) with a maximum brightness of up to 500 nits. The device allows users to turn off by placing their palm on the display and supports “lift to wake” and “double tap to wake” features. This smartwatch has more than 140 pre-installed sports modes and more than 200 watch faces. It comes with Xiaomi’s HyperOS out of the box, is compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones, and offers Indian support.
The newly launched Redmi Watch 5 Active has an integrated Alexa voice assistant. It helps users monitor health indicators such as heart rate and blood oxygen level or SpO2. This smartwatch not only tracks your menstrual cycle, but also your sleep and stress levels. Data from these trackers can be synced with Strava and Apple Health apps as well as the Mi Fitness app (Xiaomi Wear).
This smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and also supports making and receiving calls via the connected smartphone. Call performance is also said to be improved by ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation), which is activated via three microphones. This watch features the IPX8 water resistance standard.

Typical uses reportedly include heart rate monitoring every 10 minutes, turning off detailed sleep monitoring, 15 minutes of Bluetooth calling, and 90 minutes of exercise per week.
Meanwhile, frequent use of the Redmi Watch 5 Active is said to include parameters such as minute-by-minute heart rate monitoring, high-precision sleep monitoring switched on, 30 minutes of Bluetooth calls and 150 minutes of training per week. The smartwatch supports charging via magnetic pen. The dimensions of this watch are 49.1 x 40.4 x 11.4 mm and its weight including the bracelet is 42.2 grams.
