New Delhi, May 1: The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has announced the recruitment of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) positions in Group ‘C’ (non-gazetted, combat, non-ministerial) across various departments. An official notification has been released, detailing a total of seven vacancies.
The vacancies include three positions for ASI (Radiographer), two for ASI (Pharmacist), one for ASI (Operation Theatre Technician), and one for ASI (Dental Technician).
The online application process is currently underway, with the last date to apply set for May 4. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official website within the stipulated time frame.
Applicants must have completed their 12th grade in a relevant science subject from a recognized institution or university, along with a two-year diploma in Medical Imaging Technology/Radiography/Pharmacy or a diploma in Operation Theatre Technology/Dental Technician/Mechanic. Candidates must also possess other specified qualifications, skills, and experience relevant to the field.
The minimum age for candidates is set at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 27 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a series of tests, including Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), written examination, skill/trade test (if applicable), document verification, medical examination, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS categories. SC/ST/ex-servicemen and female candidates are exempt from the registration fee.

Following this, they need to register and log in, fill in all required information in the form, upload the necessary documents in the correct size, pay the registration fee, and submit the form. Finally, candidates should keep a copy of the application form for future reference.
