Realme GT Neo 6 Allegedly Receives BIS Certification, Hints at Possible India Launch

Realme GT Neo 6 may launch in India once the smartphone receives Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. The next-generation Realme GT Neo phone series is expected to be released alongside the Realme GT Neo 5 launched last year. It has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 1.5K resolution display and support for 100W fast wired charging. In addition to the BIS certification, the Realme GT Neo 6 camera is said to have appeared in the FV-5 database and on the Indonesian website P3DN.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Realme GT Neo 6 has appeared on the BIS website with the model number RMX3851. Screenshots from the listing provided by the publication suggest that the phone received the certification on Wednesday (March 13). The technical specifications of the phone are not disclosed.

The FV 5’s camera database is said to include a link to the Realme GT Neo 6. According to the report, the phone may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture. The main sensor supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). Additionally, the phone has reportedly been spotted on an Indonesian P3DN certification site with 5G connectivity.

Realme has not yet announced any details regarding the launch of the Realme GT Neo 6. However, recently leaked information suggests that Realme is working on the GT Neo 6 series. It is said to be Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, 1.5K resolution. display and supports 100W fast wired charging.

The Realme GT Neo 6 is expected to be the successor to the Realme GT Neo 5. The latter was introduced in China last February with two charging options. The 240W charging variant is priced at CNY 3,199 (Rs. 39,000 approx) for the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the 150W variant is priced at CNY 2,499 (Rs. 30,400 approx) for the 8GB RAM + 2.25 GB of built-in memory for the model.
