Realme GT 6T launch on May 22: Here’s what we know so far

Realme announced the launch of its GT 6T smartphone in India on May 22. The upcoming gaming phone will be launched at 12 p.m. Ahead of the launch, the company confirmed some of the phone’s features.

Realme claims that the Realme GT 6T is powered by a 5,500mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC charging. The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor for the first time in the country.

The Realme GT 6T is said to feature a 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution. Its curved LTPO display has a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has a slim design and the screen is surrounded by a thin bezel on all sides.

On the front, the Realme GT 6T has a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens on the back. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The company also confirmed that the upcoming Realme GT 6T smartphone will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset.

It will have a 5500 mAh battery. According to Realme, the battery uses a dual-cell architecture with two 2750mAh cells connected in series. The company claims that this configuration helps double the charging capacity while maintaining a constant current.

According to the company, the phone has a 120 W SuperVOOC charging function, which can charge the battery up to 50 percent in 10 minutes. Realme claims that this will be enough for everyday use.
