Realme GT 6T has a 5500mAh battery with 120W fast charging

Realme’s GT series is back after a two-year hiatus with the launch of the GT 6T in India. The phone is scheduled to launch on May 22 and is confirmed to come with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, which will be a Japanese first. This time this company has announced the battery capacity and charging speed of the mobile phone.

The company introduced the GT 6T and announced that the phone will come with a 5,500mAh battery. The battery uses a dual-cell architecture with two 2750 mAh cells connected in series. The company claims that this configuration doubles the charging capacity while keeping the current constant.

The phone has a 120W SuperVOOC charging feature that can charge the battery up to 50% in 10 minutes, according to the company. Realme says this is enough for everyday use. The SuperVOOC charger is a gallium nitride charger and is said to be designed for efficient thermal management.

Realme says its latest phone scored 1.5 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. Also worth highlighting is the excellent cooling performance of the large VC cooling system.

The phone has a silver color and appears to be a rebranded version of the GT Neo6 SE that was launched in China earlier this year. The phone is likely to come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO curved display, a 50MP + 8MP dual camera setup and a 32MP front camera.
