Realme GT 6 Teased to Feature 5,500mAh Battery, SuperVOOC Charging Support

The Realme GT 6 is expected to be officially launched on June 20 and will go on sale in India via Flipkart. As the launch date approaches, the Chinese tech brand is busy revealing the design and specifications of the new GT series phone. The brand recently confirmed the Realme GT 6’s battery and charging specifications. It is already known that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC will be running. It has many artificial intelligence (AI) based features.

Both Realme and Flipkart announced the launch of the Realme GT 6 on their websites on a dedicated landing page. According to the previews, the new phone will come with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W SuperVOOC charging. This fast charging technology is said to charge the two-cell battery from zero to 50 percent in 10 minutes and from zero to 100 percent in 28 minutes.

The Realme GT 6 battery is said to offer 46 hours of talk time and eight hours of PUBG gameplay on a single charge. The capacity is said to be 80 percent even after 1,600 full charge cycles. Realme claims that the battery can last up to four years on a single daily charge.

The Realme GT 6 will launch in India and select global markets on June 20 at 1:30 PM. It’s already confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and offer a 120fps refresh rate for gaming. It has a 10,014mm dual VC cooling system for thermal management.

The Realme GT 6 is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens. It will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The brand will announce details about the camera on June 13.
