
Udaipur : Rajsamand murder case in Rajasthan’s Rajsamand district has been solved, with police arresting the victim’s wife. The woman confessed to the crime, saying that she had killed her husband because she was fed up with his beatings.
According to police, the victim, identified as Rajyavas, was a farmer. He and his wife, whose name has not been released, had been married for 10 years. However, their relationship was troubled, and Rajyavas would often beat his wife.
On the day of the murder, Rajyavas had come home drunk and started beating his wife again. In a fit of rage, the woman grabbed a knife and stabbed him to death. She then dumped his body in a nearby field.
The next day, villagers found Rajyavas’ body and informed the police. Police launched an investigation and soon arrested the woman. She confessed to the crime and told police that she had killed her husband in self-defense.
The woman has been charged with murder and is currently in custody. The case is still under investigation.
