Jaipur, February 24, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – Amid the massive turnout at the world-famous Falgun Lakhi Fair in Sikar district, Rajasthan Police has put in place special arrangements to ensure that no devotee, especially persons with disabilities, is deprived of darshan at Khatushyamji Temple.

In line with the directives of Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma, dedicated facilities have been introduced for the convenience of differently-abled devotees attending the fair.

Sikar Superintendent of Police Praveen Nayak Noonawat informed that special vehicles have been arranged by the police for differently-abled devotees arriving at the parking areas. These vehicles transport them directly to the दर्शन centre. Wheelchairs are provided on-site, and police personnel personally assist devotees in reaching the temple premises respectfully and safely for darshan of Baba Shyam.

SP Noonawat stated that every devotee visiting Khatushyamji Dham is considered a member of the police family. Serving differently-abled and senior citizen devotees is not only a duty but also a matter of devotion. He added that, considering the scale of the fair, police personnel have been instructed to maintain a sensitive and compassionate approach while ensuring smooth arrangements.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Anand Rao said that police assistance centres have been set up at short intervals across the fair area. Clear information boards have been installed to guide devotees easily. In case of any difficulty, devotees can approach the nearest assistance centre where police personnel are readily available to help.

To ensure safety and quick response, helpline numbers have also been issued:

  • Police Helpline: 112

  • Police Assistance: 9667600788

  • Ambulance Service: 108

With chants of “Shyam Naam” echoing across the fairgrounds, Rajasthan Police’s dedicated service is reinforcing a sense of trust and reassurance among devotees. For many differently-abled pilgrims returning after darshan with a smile, the arrangements reflect not just administrative efficiency but also a spirit of humanity and care.
