Udaipur, May 27 (Udaipur Kiran) – Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences, Umarda, organised a body painting competition through its Anatomy Department to develop students’ interest and practical understanding of human anatomy.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Head of Department Dr Ganesh Khemnar and saw participation from first-year MBBS students, who creatively presented various human body structures, organs and systems through body painting.
The artistic expression and scientific understanding displayed by the participants impressed guests and attendees during the event.
The programme was attended by Chairman Ashish Agrawal as the chief guest. Vice Chancellor Dr Prashant Nahar, Principal and Controller Dr Suresh Chandra Goyal, Registrar Dr Devendra Jain, Medical Director Kamlesh Shekhawat and Deputy Registrar Dr Kanupriya Tiwari were also present.
The guests appreciated the efforts of the students and described such activities as important for encouraging innovation and creativity in medical education.
Chairman Ashish Agrawal said the institution aims not only to achieve academic excellence but also to promote creativity, talent and overall personality development among students. He encouraged students to stay connected with innovation and practical learning.
Speakers at the event said medical education requires not only theoretical knowledge but also practical and visual understanding. They added that activities like body painting help students understand and learn subjects more effectively.
